Step 3 – Complete Your Profile & Submit Your Documentation

After you have completed Step 2, you will need to Login using your email address and password so that you can complete your profile and submit your required documentation for compliance purposes and so that Lemonway (our safe and secure digital wallet service provider) can create your wallet which you will use for investments. It is important that you submit all the required documentation in the correct format, so that your account can be activated seamlessly and efficiently.

KYC Documentation for an Individual

• Submit TWO (2) of the following Documents (you can choose any 2 of the following):
  • a colour copy of your VALID Passport
  • a colour copy of your ID card (front and back) or ID Booklet
  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Residence Permit
  • VALID Driving Licence (front and back)
  • you must submit 2 different TYPES of identification documents for example a colour copy of your ID AND a Marriage Certificate
• Submit your Proof of Address which is not older than three (3) months e.g. either a utility bill, Rates and Taxes bill, Council Tax bill, mobile/internet tax invoice, retail account statement, or a full, signed lease agreement (Bank Statements will NOT be accepted as proof of address).
• Submit a full page Bank Statement or Bank Confirmation Document which is NOT older than three (3) months and which clearly shows that the account name is the same name as the identification documents you are submitting (Credit card statements will NOT be accepted).

KYB Documentation for a Trust

Please check with your accountant or tax consultant if your Trust is allowed to invest in and own offshore assets before attempting to complete your Trust’s profile on the platform.

• Certificate of Incorporation/Registration (if applicable),
• Full, signed copy of the Trust Deed,
• Proof of Identity for each beneficiary as well as for the authorised person/primary contact person,
• Submit a full page Bank Statement or Bank Confirmation Document which is NOT older than three (3) months and which clearly shows that the account name is the same name as the Trust documentation (Credit card statements will NOT be accepted).
• Under Other supporting documentation, please upload any additional supporting documents.

You will need to provide a unique, valid email address on section 2 of the Trust profile setup process. This email address must be different to the one you supplied during Registering and will also need to be verified.

Depending on the setup of your Trust and the jurisdiction it was incorporated in, additional supporting documentation may be requested. Once you have submitted your profile our KYB Team will conduct the preliminary cross-reference checks and revert with feedback via email.

KYB Documentation for a Company

Please check with your accountant or tax consultant if your Company is allowed to invest in and own offshore assets before attempting to complete your Company’s profile on the platform.

• Certificate of Incorporation/Registration (if applicable),
• Signed Articles of Association,
• Signed Proof of Shareholding,
• Proof of Identity for each shareholder with 25% or more shareholding as well as the primary contact person,
• Submit a full page Bank Statement or Bank Confirmation Document which is NOT older than three (3) months and which clearly shows that the account name is the same name as the Company documentation (Credit card statements will NOT be accepted).
• Under Other supporting documentation, please upload any additional supporting documents.
